The UMass Boston Beacons are a Men’s Division III ice hockey team representing The University of Massachusetts Boston, located in Boston, Massachusetts from the Little East Conference. The team is based out of Edward T. Barry Ice Rink, which is located on the school’s campus. The men’s program was established for the 1980-81 season, after the school was realigned from Boston State College.
