It’s back… the 4th annual Division III Hockey ‘Broadcaster Bracket’ is back in 2025!
This year, we’ll be doing things a little bit differently, the bracket voting will be conducted either via our website to ensure everyone has the ability to vote OR two polls running on Instagram & Twitter / X. We’ve received comments regarding this and wanted to make it as accessible as we can.
The bracket has gained notoriety throughout the years, this is tough at times with new broadcasters entering and some leaving since this is primarily a college-level crowd, with many longtime legends of D-III Hockey in the mix as well. The total number of votes each year typically ranges from 20,000 – 30,000 with around 30-40 broadcasters in the mix each year!
Social media will be the main distribution of the voting links and broadcaster clips, but you’re more than welcome to share them wherever you wish.
Broadcasters can nominate themselves or be nominated by: team, coach, school admin, fans etc… Read more on the sign-up form!
*Please keep the media clips to 1-2 minutes or less!*
Our past winners have been:
2022: Matt Meisenbacher – UMass-Boston
2023: Kevin Haas – Northland College
2024: Ray Biggs – Utica University
Sign-ups close Saturday – February 22, 2025 at 11pm ET, with broadcaster clips being due by Sunday – February 23, 2025 by 7pm ET.
The bracket is planned to be released by Sunday night or Monday morning, with voting beginning early in the week (TBD).
