The Potsdam Bears are a Women’s Division III ice hockey team representing the State University of New York at Potsdam, located in Potsdam, New York from the State University of New York Athletic Conference. The team is based out of Maxcy Ice Arena, which is located on the school’s campus. The women’s program was established at the varsity level for the 2008-09 season, after spending one season as a club team.
