It’s finally here… DIIIHockeyNews.com is alive and well at last. Welcome aboard and hopefully the ship floats.

Another season of Men’s & Women’s Division III Hockey is now officially upon us as of today, Friday – November 1, 2024. With that, there’s some exciting happenings within DIIIHockeyNews that I’ll discuss here… Also, PSA, this article is being written after working for about 40 hours on this in four days, so if there’s a typo, I’ll excuse myself.

Weekly Polls: please refer to my Weekly Polls Article -LINK- for the complete information, but this is a new step made this season as we’ve compiled two pools of 20-voters (plus two absentee) to create in our minds the most reliable, credible, and diverse poll there is for both Men’s & Women’s D-III Hockey.

As you’ll notice, we have a “Standings” tab, this contains all leagues and teams and will be updated (as it states on the page) at the end of every weekend and occasionally multiple times per weekend. The standings will be updated for midweek games as there’s a low volume to handle during the week.

Our “Scores” tab has articles for each day of games, containing a list in order of ‘start time’. This sheet will be updated as games are completed and will be the lone source of scores on this website unless you head over to our social media accounts (@DIIIHockeyNews) for the fastest updates.

Our “Podcast” tab allows you to listen directly on the site, or you may head over to Spotify or Apple Music and listen on those respective platforms.

News will be posted in the “Weekly blog” section of the site, organized by Men’s & Women’s.

Finally, check out our Full-60 tab with our YouTube videos we’ve made showcasing Division III Hockey and be sure to read our “About Us” tab as it shares a backstory for each individual and their contributions to DIIIHockeyNews.

Let’s have ourselves a hockey season!
