My name is Scott Kinville, I am the owner and editor of CNYHockeyReport.com and the host of the Central New York Hockey Report Podcast. We are the only website that is focused solely on all levels of hockey in Central New York.
Hockey is huge in Central New York and having been born and raised here the sport is in my blood. I am married, but my wife calls hockey my “mistress” as covering hockey takes up most of my free time during the season.
I am a full-time firefighter/EMT and I have been covering and podcasting about hockey for about five years. I launched CNYHockeyReport.com in 2023 and prior to that I wrote for 315 Hockey, and Marty’sIllegalStick.com. You can also find my hockey work on MyLittleFalls.com and the Mohawk Valley Express.
I am very much so looking forward to contributing to DIIIHockeyNews.com. A site dedicated to Division III hockey is long overdue, and I cannot think of anyone better than Chris to run it.
